Mahler, Symphony N0. 9 in D Major

Mahler's Ninth Symphony, arranged by German composer Klaus Simon in 2007 in the style of Schoenberg's Society for Private Musical Performances. The Ninth extended Mahler's use of chamber-like textures and fluid contrapuntal lines: Simon’s arrangement captures the spirit of Mahler’s unique sound-world without limiting its expressive intensity.
