Masterclass focusing on Gustav Mahler arr. Klaus Simon  Symphony No.9

About this Collaboration

ESO is delighted to collaborate with the Cardiff International Academy of Conducting for a special masterclass focusing on Gustav Mahler, Symphony no. 9 in the arrangement by Klaus Simon.

ESO’s Artistic Director and Principal Conductor, Kenneth Woods will work with eight talented participants on the musical and technical issues involved in a work of this magnitude. Thursday 24th features workshops with piano duet preparing for a full day with the ESO musicians on Friday 25th.

Sessions are at Wyastone Concert Hall from 10:30am – 5:30pm each day.

Observers are welcome to join the course for £150 (both days) or £80 per day and can be purchased via the link above.
